Question: I am currently in my 40s and I have recently started to think about a facelift to enhance my appearance and give me a more youthful look. Because of my busy lifestyle, I feel that I may not be the best candidate for a full facelift. My friends told me about the Micro-Mini Lift for those who may not have the need or the time for a full facelift. How does the Micro-Mini Lift result in a shortened overall recovery time?

Discussion:

Traditional facelift procedures oftentimes require that a large incision be made in the areas directly in front of and behind the ears. Micro-Mini Lift incisions are comparatively smaller resulting in decreased surgical trauma risk and recovery time. More extensive lifting up of the skin through these designs naturally results in a greater degree of swelling and potential bruising which takes more time to resolve. Some surgeons have resorted to placing drains to cope with the problem and this practice is not always successful. Micro-Mini Lift are comparatively smaller and generally result in decreased surgical trauma and recovery time.
